Construction waste was a kind of separated waste in the process of building demolishment. It was one of the largest amounts of the industrial solid wastes in China. Comprehensive utilization of construction waste made a great sense in saving resources, protecting environment, enhancing economical and social benefit and optimizing the source arrangement effectively. The main traditional approaches about comprehensive utilization of construction waste were reinforcing soft ground base and landfill. But since the low ratio of utilization of construction waste compared to its output and surplus, it was necessary to generalize and extend traditional utilization methods and to investigate new uses. As a kind of traditional wall material, burnt clay bricks had been forbidden since they were waste of much soil and polluted to environment during the process of production and utilization. Construction waste had the properties of anti bounce, hard wearing and so on. There was some active chemical composition in the waste. It would be significant to develop a kind of wall material to replace burnt clay brick using of construction waste and new cementitious material which could be compatible with construction waste. In this article, the composition and classification of construction waste was analyzed, especially the composition and properties of demolished buildings. The unburned and non-autoclaved process condition was established. A kind of cementitious material was developed which had a low cost and good compatibility with construction waste. The gradation and proportion of construction waste was studied. The effective of technological parameters on the samples'strength and volume density was studied. Use the formulation obtained from experiments of laboratory into the pilot scale experiment and the production were tested refer to the national standard. This article also studied the formation mechanism of strength of the sample. The results indicated:(1) Using clinker as the main raw material to prepare cementitious material which had many admixtures, such as slag, fly ash and waste residue. The prepared...
