This paper analyses the significance of th study of indoor air quality, summaries the development of the the research on indoor air quality, and narrates the advantage of appliance of computational fluid dyanmics on IAQ resesrch.The study object is an apartment unit with two bedrooms and one hall. When the mathematics model is founded, some conditions are taken to account such as outdoor temperature, structure of enclosure, furniture and occupants indoor. And then set the reasonable boundary and initial conditions. Based on the theoretically analysis of physical and mathematical model, theκ-εtwo-equation turbulence model and method of SIMPLE are adopted simulate the three-demensional ari distribution of the room, effect of buoyant force onκ-εmodel is considered and the wall fuction is used for the boundary condition. Governing equation discrete, solving of the conjugated algebraic equation set and SIMPLE method are also discussed in this paper.Simulate four kinds of air distribution mode using the software Fluent. Open out the factors which are the primary factors affect the indoor air distribution after analysing and comparing the result. From generalizing the analysis of result, the advice for improving airflow in the room from the aspect of air quality is provided, and a new method for studying and designing the airflow in air-conditioned room is presented.In short, this study is valuable of providing a satisfied method of organizing the airflow indoor.
