Mass concrete is easy to crack if constructed improperly, because of its huge volume and complicated construction condition. And the cracklings will either affect the durability of the concrete structure, or even influence the mechanics performance of the concrete. So avoiding the mass concrete from cracking has drawn the attention of the engineering field of the whole world.Based on the analyzed results, some important conclusions are given as a reference for other similar projects. Based on the theory of linear transient temperature field and thermo-elastic mechanics, the thermal-structure coupling analysis of mass concrete in the process of construction and maintenance is done with the software in this paper. The effects of early age mass concrete slab deformation caused by different edge conditions, restrained by pile foundation, are analyzed. At the same time, on-site measurements of actual project was carried out to make a summary about the laws of concrete deformation as the sizes and edge conditions. Based on the analyzed results, some important conclusions are given as a reference for other similar projects.Good correlation shows that this program can be used to simulate the early age behavior of mass concrete structures. The result from emulation and on-site measurements can be used for design or construction.
