The WFB assembly hollow slab with cast-in-site ribs is a new kind large span floor structure by improving the traditional hollow slab, it is made up of by two parts: WFB hollow boxes and cast-in-site ribs. WFB hollow box is prefabricated in the factory. During the process of construction, the side face of the WFB hollow box can work as molding board, this only requires underpining the molding board under the ribs and casting the concrete of the ribs, which saves up lots of molding boards and reduces the mount of the cast-in-site concrete, also cuts down the cost of project and shortens the time of the project. This kind of new slab has lots of merits, such as light deadweight, low cost, the simple way of construction, all of those merits make it adapt to large span floor and be applied in more areas.Through the test on WFB assembly hollow slab with cast-in-site ribs by static water, its working performances and mechanical characters were studied and analyzed, including stiffness, deformation, the appearance and development of crack, the combination of the prefabricated WFB hollow box and the concrete. The research showed that WFB assembly hollow slab with cast-in-site ribs has the virtue of large of stiffness, good property of sustain large load, excellent merit of aseismatic capability and satisfy the demand of anti-penetration.Finite element analysis program ANSYS (release 9.0) had been used to analyzed the nonlinear behavior of the WFB assembly hollow slab with cast-in-site ribs under vertical load. The calculated force-displacement curve matches well with the research results, this indicated that the process of nonlinear analysis was right, and the finite element analysis program is reliable. Through the analysis of 9m×9m, 10m×10m, 11 m×11 m rib floor and WFB assembly hollow floor with cast-in-suit ribs respectively, the author concluded the magnified coefficient of the WFB hollow box to the WFB assembly hollow floor. The magnified coefficient will help the designer a lot. Such as, in the PKPM program, the designer multiplies the magnified coefficient of middle ribs (1~2) by the magnified coefficient of WFB hollow box, by this way, can simplify the design of WFB assembly hollow slab with cast-in-site ribsSupposed the destroy mechanism from the experiment results and consulted the results from the other researches all over the world.
