The signal analysis is a newly arisen technique, which has already applied in the correspondence, radar, earthquake, biomedical science and machine etc extensively. With the development of the computer that brings a modern signal analysis method which is based on mathematic analysis. Then, a signal analyzer emerged which include data acquisition, A/D converter, digital signal processing etc. It is an ideal tool used for analyzing noise, electronic circuits, vibration signals etc. It is widely applied in many industrial fields, such as automobile, electron, spaceflight and navigation, environment protecting etc. With the development of the embedded system, the electronic instrument is becoming portable. The characteristic of the embedded system is mini-type, special used, portable, high reliable so it is widely applied in all kinds of fields. Therefore, the main research content of this paper is designed and realized for a portable dynamic signal analyzer based on embedded system. The realization of it adopts advanced data acquisition technology, DSP technology, PCI/USB2.0 bus technology, embedded system technology and zero-data-copy technology.The hardware of the system consists of PC/104- Plus, data acquisition and DSP processing, USB2.0 interface, PCI interface, net port, serial port and user interface. The PC/104-Plus module consists of Intel UVL Celeron Mobile 600M Processor, Intel 855GME+ICH4 chipset, 256MB DDR266 memory and 1GB CF card. The data acquisition module adopt 24-bit ?-ΣADC and TMS320VC33 DSP which is a 32-bit, floating-point processor, and it can performs acquisition and analysis for four 24-bit analog inputs with 192KS/s sampling rate in time. The sampling data is transferred to PC/104-Plus module using USB2.0 port or PCI interface. Two net ports are used for remote control of the system and data transfer.
