The street and block environmental design of Xi'an Taiyi Palace town is in-depth of the master planning and detailed planning. This design has transformed the Taiyi original linear sole street material space into the group type block overall layout which function prepared, primary and secondary, the natural landscape axis and the artificial landscape axis clear. The excavation and research to culture and history of the Taiyi palace town has further established the inner link between the Taiyi culture and the ancient city of Xi'an urban construction culture. The author take advantage of the eco-tourism and the cultural industry of the Taiyi Palace town, unifies the characteristic of the local landscape features, mold the Taiyi into Xi'an mountainous region cities layout patterns. Through the conformity reorganization and the system design to the local environment essential factor, make it to form the characteristic and the style of the modern ancient city.In the form of construction, it established the residential and traditional architectural style of Guanzhong area . It search for ancient architecture context and scenery, mine and refine the logic elements of building cultural and architectural symbols from traditional architecture, Then analysis, and fragment these resources, continuous integrate them to modern architectural to form a new order, the pursuit of realistic, the whole design ,the space sequences, construction standards monomer style fabric and materials of building to the harmony of traditional architectural, respect for history and not to imitate history, give it new meaning and temperament.In decoration, using architectural pieces, symbols and cultural construction profound implications for the traditional pictorial embellish and modify them to make the traditional architectural space inside and outside to be closer to people's lives and more local flavor of the premise of the modern use .The meaning of traditional culture and aesthetic embodied by these decorative elements give modern thinking and enlightenment, to achieve a subtle cultural heritage and educational significance. In the design of street, we perfected the structure of road network and cleared the function of road .Through the supporting infrastructural construction ,the design of layout,organize,form and style about which building along the street, the layout of street furniture, which all the above elements make the space of the neighborhood of the Taiyi palace town more spacious, facilities more comprehensive, transport more convenient. Through the square design of Taiyi central commercial district, we opened a humanistic place where it contains the features of theme clear> function various,facilities comprehensive and fundamental elements rich, where it also be as a public place for peoples' rest,communication and assembly.The protection and "rehabilitation" of the Taiyi historical and cultural sites, reappearing the former day's temple pattern and building style. Through the recreation of the square and the street environment in front of the Taiyi Palace's gate, has enriched the spatial shape of the historical block, and expresses the Taoism culture's mystically and the silence ideal condition.Use landscape walk mural,art relief and other forms of art to decorate the outdoor space of Taiyi, keep the urban landscape sequence clear, sharp image, a prominent theme and highlights the city's culture and the construction culture.
