The wind power is one of the new potential sources of energy at present in the world. That wind power generation is a kind of clean renewable energy, it has no environmental pollution, and technology is mature , stand-alone capacity is big, the construction cycle is short, so it is completely one kind of safe reliable sources of energy. After the industrialization and the localization achieved the certain scale the price performance ratio of wind power generate has the suitable superiority.Benefited from the ceaseless development of information technology and control technique, development of wind power generation is in fast progress . Its stand-alone capacity develops from several kilowatts up to more than one megawatts per unit, and category of controls from stall type to pitch regulation type up to the variable speed type.The thesis mostly studies the way of control and analysis the character of VSCF wind power system. Firstly, it presents the principle of VSCF wind power, and established the corresponding system mathematical model in view of the wind power generation unit to describe the entire dynamic behavior of the wind power generation unit. In the foundation of analysis to the wind power generation unit's dynamic performance it compares the constant-speed constant-frequency (CSCF) and VSCF and elaborated the necessity of variable speed. Also it builds the mathematic model of all section of wind power generation system. Formulates the variable speed wind power generation unit's control strategy, separately designed two fuzzy controllers regarding the high wind speed and the low wind speed . At low wind speed it can capture the most wind energy and at high wind speed maintain the peak power output. In the end, the simulation models of all compositions of the wind power system are built up with the software Matlab6.5/Simulink5.0 and simulation experiments are done, whose results show that the fuzzy controller may obtain the quite good control performance.
