In present time, due to the development of network technology, especially the technology of Internet/Intranet/Extranet, some new revolutions and important influences are being brought to manufacturing industry. Networked manufacturing have become one of the primary development trends in modern manufacturing industry. Because networked manufacturing comes down to the integration of many high technologies ,including internal and external integration of enterprises, integration of product lifecycle ,the integration of a mass of hardware and software, and integration of technology and management, the networked manufacturing platform which can integrate various resources and have various functions, will be the technology support tool for networked manufacturing.In this thesis, the necessity of networked manufacturing platform (NMP) based on Messaging-oriented middleware(MOM) has been analyzed after the summarization about the current status and the development of NMP, and the architecture of NMP has been established, which includes software architecture and function architecture. The software architecture consists of Customer Interface Layer, the Page Service Layer, Applied Interface Layer and the Data Service Layer. The function architecture consists of basic service function, basic support function and other expanded function. Three key technology that use MOM to solve networked manufacturing have been discussed, including the virtual product model, item flow and workflow and product model, manufacture information exchange technology base on Internet. According to total structure of the networked manufacturing model, MOM as the main factor of platform and the vital point in communication, has been analyzed and designed. Firstly, the architecture of MOM has been established, which can be solved well the part problem of exchanging and integrating between different structure and distributed information in the networked manufacturing. Secondly, MOM functions has been designed, including message basic service, message transmission, message agent and message router etc. Last, adaptor system has been discussed for carrying out functions and services of MOM, as well as the architecture, functions and work mode of adaptor.According to the analyse and design of MOM, the realization of message and queue software has designed using some software technology, such as XML, CORBA and JAVA program language. Base on realization of message basic service and adaptor, the arithmetic and realization of two basic process, Point to Point and Publish/Subscribe, have been provided.At last, the rationality and feasibility of the development and application of networked manufacturing integrated platform based on MOM have been demonstrated, accompanying the application example of key project of natural science of SiChuan Education Bureau, networked manufacturing integrated platform base on CORBA.
