LAC means Limits of Acceptable Change. Derived from the concept of tourism environment capacity, the original meaning of LAC is that managers take measure to limit changes to keep the balance between tourism and the nature when changes of the environment reach to certain limits because tourism area is compacted by tourists' behaviors. Game theory is called countermeasure theory as well. It studies the optimum decision-making in counter conditions of the realities bu mathematical modes. In brief, game theory studies how to make decisions to maximize uses in certain information frame and the balance of different decision-makers.So far, LAC is applied in the management of resources protection, development and utility in tourism areas. The study tries to set up mathematical modes to explore the prospect of the application of LAC in Landscape Architecture by the research methods of economy and specific cases.Although LAC is derived from the concept of tourism environment capacity, it is different from the traditional environment capacity which is a integrate management process. There is not a integrate mathematical calculation system and certain measurable calculation modes. In the process of the application of LAC to resolve problems of all fields in Landscape Architecture, we have found clear data are beneficial to better management. Therefore, it is necessary for us to find out a whole system of measurable calculation and accurate analyze. I found there are much comparability between LAC and game theory after I compared and analyzed them at some aspects such as concepts, frames and utilities. At present, studies on LAC are short of scientific and perfect calculation methods in measures, aims and applications. Therefore, there is a very spacious development spaces. The studies on economy and game theory are rather mature, so we can use the systematic methods of economy to study LAC further more.
