A Study On Historic Town Of Xinghuacun

Traditional settlements are kinds of social communities, which have accumulated large amount of traditional local culture in their spontaneously long term Evolvement from agricultural society to handcrafted and commercial one.In the overwhelming era of globalization and informatization, china is under going the process of rapidly modernization and regime transformation. Historic towns are now facing thoroughly changes. How to reuse these invaluable protected historic environments?Especially how to release the intangible cutural meaning out of its physical bedding and vividly combine with people's modern social lives?Planners and designer should strengthen further study on intangible cultural heritage and aim at formulating an integerated conservation of historic town.Supported by the case study of Xinghuacun,this thesis introduces the method and process of intangible culture survey and evaluation,and the comibination design of intangible culture physical environment.In the finality ,the problems requiring further studies are discussed.
