| City Image is part of the crucial factors to present competitiveness of city. It is very important to economic growth and social acknowledgment. With impressive changing of social environment, City image becomes big issue during process of city development. Many practices, such as designing, marketing, management for City Image become more and more common.By exploring many relative studies from national and international literatures, my dissertation will analyze theories related to city image and formalize a concept platform and collect basic assumptions. In order to investigate city image broadly and deeply, I will focus on the identity of city image from travelers' point of view by segment of the scope of city image. I will use Li jiang city as a objective of case study, combing with questionnaires as an methodology to proof my primary research.In order to develop the theory of city image and understand deeply about specialty of the segmented image, my research will investigate about the identity factors of city image, media and channels for broadcasting of city image factors, relationship of city image between negative ones and positive ones, city image factors and travelers' behaviors, influence of travelers' consumption to city image. In addition, I will discuss relationships among design of city image according to travels' opinion, city marketing and city design. |
