Research Of Urban Elevated Road Landscape Design

With the development of our Urbanization,many traditional urban space have been given modern connotation and new-style urban space have come forth. As the production of modern city, elevated road is not only important character of urban-space landscape, but also prominent factor in urban planning. Despite its function to the urban traffic, it brings negative affection to urban space landscape. As its appearance, it becomes the prominent symbol and changes the landscape character where it located. In this paper, we try to discuss how to deal with the relation of elevated road and space landscape around it, and how to protect and exhibit the best character and scenery as well as to make it convenient and effectual, and how to change it into potential space.The paper analyses and thinks deeply the elevated road space landscape in urban. Based on the theory of urban design and landscape design,and from the aspects of times background, ecology environment and sustainable development, it studies elevated road space landscape in the progress of urbanization. Based on the analysis of concept,character and present condition of elevated road space,this paper discusses the design of elevated road space landscape and points out its progress trend. We hope that it can arouse people to attach importance to elevated road space and it can give some beneficial advice for elevated road construction in cities.
