Through the research of cantilever length to change at a big range to the box girder, we find that the domestic research less focus on the reasonable cantilever length to box girder bridge .Generally, while carrying on the transverse section design, when concentrating load or part distributing load effect, we must calculate the portrait availability width of load first. and transform it to a equivalent distributing load , and then take the beam segment of the unit length, analyze transverse stress according to rigid frame. availability width of load rule by《Code for Design of Highway Reinforced Concrete and Prestressed Concrete Bridges and Culverts》is come from a predigested analysis, but the box girder is a space structure, calculation obviously with actual condition will have some discrepancies. So this text draws up to adopt an analysis of space procedure to hanged the reasonable length of box girder.This text briefly introduce the used for the a beam of the analysis the bridge currently basic the theories the and the methods, introduce the research method of box girder aberration and the theory of plane-frame about compute the cross moment of box girder ; make use the of the space Finite Element Method builds up the space to imitate the true analytical model, analyzing cross stress of box girder to carry vertical load and function of deadweight. Compute according to the empirical formula result and spaces is analytical to as a result carry on the contrast analysis, getting the reasonable length about box girder and it affects the factor.
