Research On Flexible Manufacturing Cell Control Subsystem

Cell control subsystem is a part of the fabrication integrated subsystem. The fabrication integrated subsystem is one subsystem of the digitalized design and manufacture integrated system besides the pre-production subsystem and the workshop manufacturing execution subsystem.The paper discusses cell control subsystem combining the digitalized design and manufacture integrated system which is developed by our corporation and Advanced Manufacturing Laboratory Nanjing University of Science and Technology to solve the bottlenecks of products' development and production.Cell control subsystem inquires the current tasks according to the part flowsheet information, machining tasks information and technology information, puts the satisfactory tasks into FMS to machine. Arranges the tasks of numerical control machine tool and comero , and control their run, then passes the complete information to the workshop after completing the tasks. Establishes cutting tools workstation controller to manage all cutting tools. Prepares the cutting tools according to machining tasks in advance and tracks the cutting tool's state at any moment. Cell control subsystem comprises tasks manage, tasks exception treatment, cutting tools manage, tasks inquiry, cutting tools inquiry and users manage modules. The paper designs all the modules' operation means ,use explain and interface control.
