| In recent years, the study on the simulation system of ship is concentrated on the engine room simulator, bridge simulator and cargohandling simulator. The engine room simulator mainly simulates the performance of the main propulsion, engine room, ship power station and so on. Even if part contents are about boiler simulation in engine room simulator, but the simulation model and the operation are simple without pertinency, in particular to the modeling and dynamic simulation of fuel boiler system of large oil tanker. At the same time, the fuel boiler system of large oil tanker is an energy conversion system, which is complex and has numerous equipments. The system has many characteristics such as small inertia, great dynamic variety, much correlative and restrictive factor between its subsystems etc. Therefore, it is essential to carry research on the modular modeling and the simulation to the fuel boiler system of large oil tanker.At first, this article introduces the composition and characteristics of fuel boiler system of large oil tanker, according to its characteristics of work process and the requirements of operation, then analyzes the dynamic characteristics of water-level control, steam pressure control and so on. Secondly, using the method of modular modeling and lumped parameter modeling, the author establishes the dynamic math model of fuel boiler system of large oil tanker, through the analysis of mechanism, applying laws of mass conservation, energy conversation, momentum conservation and theories of thermodynamics, heat-transfer, fluid dynamics etc.On the basis of established dynamic math model, the author establishes the simulation model applying the tool of Matlab/Simulink and introduces the method and process of building real-time simulation model for each sub-module detailly.
