The rotor rub-impact has great influence on the stability and safety of rotating machine. In this dissertation, a rub-impact laboratory bench of Jeffcott rotor system is created, which can simulate the single rub-impact faults in different degrees. Analyzed the fault signal and the detection method of the rub-impact, appropriate sensors and data acquiring card are chosen and a testing system based on visual instrumentation technology is built. Moreover, Applying the concept of modulari- zation design and a commercial software LabVIEW, a software aiming at acquiring and analyzing rotor dynamics data is developed, which can implement the data acquisition of vibration sign, data pretreatment, time domain and frequency domain analysis, above all, full-information analysis for rotor. At the end, using the laboratory bench and the software, an experiment of rub-impact is carried out and the vibration characters of rub-impact are obtained. The results indicate the whole system can perfectly simulate the rotor rub-impact and has good stability, high reliability and powerful analyzing performance, which provides a basement for further studying the theory of rub-impact based on experiment.
