The paper has provided one kind of new rationale for the design and characteristic analysis of epicyclical gear trains (EGTs). Because the traditional analysis method very difficultly automatically completes system design and characteristic analysis through the computer programming, its essence is lacks one kind of new theory method which may be applied into the modern design thought and modern analysis method. The graph theory is applied to create graph theory method for the systematized research of EGTs. The graph theory method is advantageous to through the computer programming realization system automatic design and analysis.The main work in this paper includes: 1.Using graph theory to the systematized research of EGTs is presented.The unified graph model is established in first which can complete describe the structure characteristic and state characteristic information of EGTs. Namely, graph model for the systematized research of EGTs is established in this paper.2. Based on establishes the mapping graph storehouse for the structure of topological graph with the actual structure of EGTs, new evolution way for the composition structure of EGTs is presented.3. Based on graph model for the systematized research of EGTs, this paper is adopting graph theory method of Net problem to the systematized research of EGTs. Namely, graph theory model for the systematized research of EGTs is established in this paper.4.On the basis of analyzing the structure of topological graph , mathematics description for geometry characteristic of topological graph is created.5. On the basis of analyzing mathematics description for geometry characteristic of topological graph and solving topological graph's problem, mathematics description for physics characteristic of topological graph is created.6.Kirchoff's law concrete mathematical formalism which can solve topological graph's problem is established, namely, systems mathematical model of EGTs - loop-equations,cut-equations is created.7. This paper illuminates power flows's characteristic of complex EGTs from a pure graph theory angle,and judgement flow chart for power flows's characteristic of EGTs is established.8. The paper was selected the example to elaborate this theory concrete application.Graph theory method for the systematized research of EGTs is created in this paper, it is more advantageous to the practical software development in EGTs.its prospect cannot expect.
