A Research On Space Controlling In Retail Revitalization Of Historical Blocks

Under the background of high speed developing of cities, the historical blocks in downtown city face lots of predicaments. Reevaluating these historical blocks deserves prior attention. Considering block reusing, profit and the similar space form, retail revitalization is a good way to reconstruct these historical blocks. The space characters after retail revitalization are deeply expatiated here. Research work on space controlling has great significance to environment, to society, to users and designers.Chapter two, have carried on the research and analysis of a series of basic concept, include: retail revitalization of historical blocks, space controlling and achievement expression of space controlling. The process of space controlling according to project practice is in-depth analysis here, which described from four aspects: concept conceiving, space analyzing, element design and production.
