Chaos, as the core contents of nonlinear science research, have been paid great attention in recent 20 years, and many desired research results have been achieved in the study of chaotic theory and the application of chaotic engineering. In this dissertation, chaotic characteristic are analyzed based on the research results of chaotic theory. Based on numerical value emulation method, analyses the dynamic behavior of several typical chaotic attractor in its phase space. Chaos are shown to have great future in the structure engineering applications by the analyses of system characteristic in the field of pile, nonlinear double thin shell, earthquake and concrete, This dissertation includes the following chapters:Chapter one: In this chapter, the origin and development of chaos are reviewed firstly, then the significance of its engineering applications and related aspects are discussed, at last the research contents and objectives of the dissertation are given.Chapter two: In this chapter several definitions of chaos and the characteristic of chaotic movement and the road to chaos are given.Chapter three: The development of vibration and a simple example of chaotic vibrate are given firstly, then the geometry characteristic of chaotic vibration and the method of numerical distinguish of chaotic vibration are given.Chapter four: The software of system emulate is simply introduce firstly, and then use the software emulate Lorenz chaotic attractor and constrain Vanderpol vibration.Chapter five: In this chapter the pile's vibration in the vertical loads and transverse load was researched, and have some meaning conclusion by compare the result of examples.Chapter six: The chaotic movement of nonlinear double thin shell was researched, and regularity of chaotic movement of nonlinear double thin shell was analyzed.Chapter seven: In this chapter fraction and chaos in the earthquake was researched, the math foundation of fraction was analyzed firstly, then analyze the...
