Along with the extended construction of ecological watercourse, varies of hydrophyte are used to purify polluted water. But the hydrophyte changes the frame of channel, and influences the characteristics of flow. As one of the hydrophyte, phytoplankton has a broad application. Knowing the influence to characteristics of flow has important meaning to engineering of irrigation works, sea-route and ecology. while, can the hydrophyte work satisfyingly as we expecting is a problem to be understood. So we use eichhornia crassipe to experiment indoor laboratory, analying the influence to flow. The contents of this research are as follows:1. Eichhornia crassipe is planted in three models, and velocity is measured in five situation. Then current movement is compared before and after Eichhornia crassipe's planting from three points, which are average velocity, turbulence intensity and Reynolds stress.2. The influence of Eichhornia crassipe to water's height is analyzed, and the different effect in different models and situations are compared.3. Blank-comparative experiment has been done, after water samples' taking, the elevated purificatory efficiency is gained when comparative experiment's purification is eliminated. Biologic quantity was weighed, for seeking the best suitable ratio of biologic quantity and the concentration of polluted water.4. Better planting models are seeking for, in which the Eichhornia crassipe plays a good role in purifying and does litter influence to channel's flow.
