The Settlement Control Study Of The Deep-mixing Compound Foundation

The deep-mixing composite foundation is one ground processing method commonly used in soft base processing. Although it has lots of merits and is widely applied in projects, its distortion mechanism has not been made clear and its design theory still remains imperfect. Thus further research is urgently needed on this theory, such as the characteristics of the bearing capacity and deformation in deep-mixing composite foundation and further knowledge is needed to probe into the characteristics of composite soil body. With the help of ANSYS, the thesis aims at the fundamental laws of deep-mixing composite foundation settlement through an analytical study on the factors influencing foundation settlement and a simulation analysis of the characteristics of deep-mixing composite foundation settlement, while taking into consideration the nonlinear characteristics of the pile body and the soil body in composite ground. Details are as follows:First, the result of the finite element analysis of the composite foundation settlement is approximate to the measured data.Second, analyses and discussions will be conducted on the influence on the composite foundation settlement caused by the deep-mixing composite foundation cushion, the pile body modulus of deformation, the pile spacing, the pile length and other factors.Third, the laws of the main factors affecting the settlement of composite foundation, such as modulus of deformation of cushion, modulus of deformation of the pile body, the pile spacing and the pile length will be studied by applying the finite element analysis, and the result of the finite element analysis shows that they have appropriate value ranges. Fourth, the computation depth of subjacent bed of deep-mixing composite foundation will be analyzed by applying finite element analysis.
