Study On Innovation Of Indexing Cam Mechanism

Inspired by configuration of planetary gear transmission, a new type of indexing cam mechanism, which can implement high speed, high precision indexing transmission, is discussed. Several feasible planetary indexing transmission projections are also presented as well as systemic parameter analysis and research.Based on explanation to transmission principle of new mechanism, two different types of the new mechanism are put forward. According to the eccentric type, the two one indexing mechanisms are also presented. The equations of the cam's picth curve are derived on the basis of forming principle of conjugate profile. In addition, Computer simulation of the indexing transmission course for the novel mechanism is given by programming.Structure and design parameters of the new planetary indexing cam mechanism are analyzed systematically. At the same time, research on force and balance analysis is carried out primarily.This kind of mechanism has the advantage of compact structure,coaxial input and output,high power transmission and broad indexing scope.
