With the energy crisis and the using of closed air conditional system, several poblems related to indoor air quality and human health arose. Furthermore, meeting with the demand of sustainable development, natural ventilation has been attracted more and more interests from scientists and other related researchers or engineers again. Good application of natural ventilation is necessary because it can maintain ventilation rates consistent with the requirement of acceptable indoor air quality.Based on the exhibition architecture, the article analyzes architecture factors which have effects on natural ventilation. The method takes the architecture area, architecture direction and body coefficient as quantitative parameters. While take enclosure and the area ratio of window and wall as variables. The article simulates dynamic indoor thermal environment by the software Energyplus and COMIS which combined wind pressure with thermal pressure. Furthermore, bring forward two concepts of evaluation potential of natural ventilation, comfortable hours of natural temperature and natural comfortable hours. The article takes Harbin, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou. Kunming and Lanzhou as examples to analyze the meteorology conditions effects on natural ventilation potential. Then take Harbin as example to analyze the enclosure and the ratio of window and wall effects on natural ventilation potential. The results show enclosure effects on natural ventilation is very small which can be omitted and with increase of the ratio of window and wall, the natural ventilation potential decrease, and the ratio of 0.2 is optimum.Take automobile exhibition building as an example, the article simulates the natural ventilation environment by the software Airpak, analyses the temperature fields and speed fields, discusses the natural ventilation environmental impact of the area ratio of window to wall. The result shows us that the larger the area ratio of window to wall, the more uniform the temperature fields, the less uniform the speed fields.Compares the building load computed by the software EnergyPlus between the natural ventilation and the full air-conditioning system. Chooses air-conditioning...
