Arched Corrugated Steel Roof (ACSR) is a new kind of space steel structure. It has so many advantages, such as lower cost, fast and easy construction, attractive appearance, construction locomotive, less environment and noise pollution. It has widespread application in China. According to the literatures, the experimental and theoretical research about ACSR is briefly on simplified calculating method, bearing capacity under static load and the dynamic properties of the structure. The design and construction code of this structure was completed in 2004. The code and research is studied little about some special structure such as the unequal altitude support ACSR, high and low ACSR, which is applied in the practical projects frequently. The bearing performance of these special structures is not clearly. In addition, it is also a perplexed engineering problem in designing the under-structural column of ACSR when considering the supporting stiffness to the top of the column. This paper chose the MMR-238 ACSR as the research object, established the finite element analysis model and analyzed the bearing capacity of above special ACSR and horizontal resist lateral displacement stiffness of the top of the column by ABAQUS software. The research results may provide some convenience to the engineering application.The research content of this paper is listed as follow:1. Bearing capacity research of ACSR with unequal altitude support. The ACSR with unequal altitude support is taken as the research object, whose span is 18m, 24m and 30m and ratio of rise to span is 0.20 and 0.25. The deformation and ultimate bearing capacity of these structures under the different vertical load have been analyzed, and compared with the ACSR of equal altitude support.2. Bearing capacity research of high and low ACSR. The low ACSR which span is 18m, 24m and 30m and ratio of rise to span is 0.10 and 0.15 and the high ACSR which span is 18m, 24m and 30m and ratio of rise to span is 0.35, 0.40 and 0.45 is taken as the research object. The deformation and ultimate bearing capacity of this structure under the different vertical load has been analyzed, and compared with the ACSR which ratio of rise to span is 0.25.3. Research of the influence of ACSR to the under-structural column's horizontal resist lateral displacement stiffness. The ACSR and under-structural column are taken as the research object.
