With the improvement of people's living standards, energy consumed in building, especially in space heating and domestic hot water is increasing greatly. Energy supply faces rigorous challenge in the coming decades. Meanwhile the use of fossil fuel results in critical environmental problems. Therefore, It is an importance way to reduce building energy consumption using solar energy which is a reusable and clean energy in buildings. At the same time it can resolve the problem effectively of energy shortage in agricultural and pastoral areas.Based on the solar hot water system and solar central heating system,"Solar-Electric Complementary Heating System in Civil Construction" was designed and manufactured in the thesis. This system mainly contains six parts , that is solar collector, thermal storage tank, radiator, hot water distribution system, pumps and control systems. This system made every part matched optimal combining with conditiones in some northwest places where is cold. The thesis finished the design, fix and debug through a typical building.Design method of stratified Chilled water thermal storage technology applied to air conditioning system was used for reference in the design of hot-water thermal storage tank. The tank added stratified diffuser in some places where can result in turbulence easily such as in copper tube heat exchanger; ora collected hot water and so on. Minutes.By testing the diffuser, the stratified hot-water storage tank can work economically and reliably. The test results of this experimental prototype show that main daily thermal efficiency of this system is more than 45%, and this number shows that components in the system matched reasonably each other.
