The Analysis And Study Of Design Flood For Dawen River Watershed

The flood problem is a significant an complex phenomenon in nature. And design flood is directly relate to safety an economy of a project as well as benefit of people's lives and property. Therefore, we should pay an earnest attitude to do all that we can to draw on the merit of all possible means and incorporate them.Nowadays, two methods are mostly adopted to treat design flood both at home and abroad: one is to calculate the process of design flood on the basis of discharge record. The other is to calculate it through PMP or PMF.Based on the principle of combining theory and the actual conditions, this essay, integration with the realistic situation of the drainage, will mainly make a reaserch in the following aspects:1, to analyze the frequency curve parameter by using weight function of digital integration and put forward a way of evaluating the distribution parameter of P—III model which is applicable to DaWen Watershed.2, to calculate the process of design flood by using the discharge record.3, to analyze and calculate the PMF.4, to analyze and prove the results got from two different ways mentioned above and choose a plan that is in accord with the realistic situation of the basin. Then , draw up a scheme of watershed flood control arrangement according to this plan.
