It is described in this paper that a fault simulation system based on graphic interface is developed. As a part of substation simulation and training system, it perfects the relay protection and fault recordedr simulation of substation simulation and training system.In this paper, following works have been developed: system modeling, load flow and short circuit calculation, the graphical interface of control,protection and fault recorder, the status messages of normal and fault, reports printing, LCD screen display, keyboard operation and record curve etc..The applications of Object-Oriented make the system universal andmaintenance.
