Study On Experience Design Of Modern Urban Park

The development of the urban park after more than one hundred and fifty years, and the content and form has evolved gradually from the initial unitary leisure place to a synthesis of multi-function. Although the denotation expanded constantly, the aim of urban park is to meet for need of the public in each period all the way. It is also the intention of discussing the topic on urban park design.With urban park as the object of research, the paper declares that people care for the quality of life more and more, and emphasize on acquiring some experience by participating consciously in the activities in the period of the experience economy. In this new situation, the development of the urban park should be in harmony with the times, which not only should have diversity of function and participatory space, also it brings the chance and challenge to study on urban park design. Therefore, the paper emphasizes on concept of experience, which means direct observation or participation in events as a basis of knowledge and feelings of emotion. That is to say, on the view of experience, the paper analyzes the senses of the users in various spaces with the method of typical case contrast and analysis as well as investigation. As a result, the paper puts forward the strategy by creating the experience spaces with design elements, and make further efforts to conclude the characteristics and the relevant principles of experience design. Thus it will be possible to create a more pleasant and attractive environment in the park.
