For large oil fields of our country which are turning into later period exploitation, the rodless oil pumping technology of screw pump driven by submersible motor can achieve high delivery lift and low delivery capacity. It has advantages of saving material, energy conservation, good flexibility, high efficiency and so on, and is being applied more comprehensively. Submersible motor is a vertical three-phase induction motor. Working under several thousand meters of the oil well, the submersible motor has different structure from traditional three-phase induction motor. It adopts lathy structure of subsection of stator and rotor: each subsection of stator combines with non-magnetic core stamping and each subsection of rotor combines with rotor bearing. Obviously the calculation method of common induction motor is not fit for design of submersible motor.To the special structure of submersible motor, the leakage reactance in end winding of stator and rotor are analyzed respectively. Based on electromagnet field, the stator end leakage magnet field is separated into leakage magnet field of general end winding and leakage magnet field of magnet partition; the rotor end leakage magnet field is separated into leakage magnet field of the two outer squirrel cage winding and leakage magnet field of end bar with rotor bearing. To increase the calculation accuracy, the effective model including magnet partition and iron area is solved by 3D FEM; to the end leakage magnet field of general stator winding and the two outer squirrel cage, the leakage reactance are calculated by formula of induction motor design program. Then the total leakage reactance in end winding expression of stator and rotor are achieved by accumulating the corresponding items.A sample motor is calculated based on the method of this paper.
