Vehicle is a complex system that is comprised of many subsystems. So how to establish a simulation model that can describe the whole dynamic characteristics of the vehicle is the key of the research about vehicle ride comfort. Most of the simulation models are built by means of differential equations presently. Such models are simplified with a few DOFs. They can't express the vibration transferred to human exactly. In this paper, a multi-body dynamic model with 50 DOFs is established by means of ADAMS, in which suspensions, steering system, powertrain, person-chair system, tires, road and the vehicle body are considered. Simulations of the model under random input and pulse input are carried out successfully. And the simulation results under random input agree well with the experiment results. Through the comparison, the model proves to be reasonable and applicable. The random excitation of the four wheels and the periodic excitation of the engine are used as the inputs of the system. The changing rule of vertical acceleration power spectrum density function of person-chair system in the frequency domain in different speed and road is simulated by means of ADAMS. The results show that the higher the speed of the...
