Implementation And Applications Of Digital Simulative Teaching System Based On Dispatcher Training Simulator

When the Dispatcher Training Simulator emerged in 1976s, It has been applied in the power system from district dispatcher to country dispatcher and its function have been greatly developed in these years. DTS have well adapted to the requirement of the power system's development and have improved the training quality of the dispatcher and make the operation level of the power system advance.Because of the function and effects, DTS well meet the need of the teaching for the specialty of power system.In this paper, the work will be showed how the DTS be reconstructed to meet the need for CAI teaching and simular experiment for the specialty of power system, and the simulating system based on DTS will be a fresh fashion of Computer Assistant Information (CAI) for the specialty of power system. Although CAI have been applied in the power system special for decades, there are some limitations while the item carrying out that few curriculum used the fashion of CAI and further CAI have been used more in the classroom than it have been done in the laboratory.In this paper, DTS were rebuilt and redeveloped combined the need for teaching and the characteristic of cognizing for undergraduate: establishing the multi-modes of power systems; designing and constructing the simulating laboratory could be received many undergraduates carry on their exercises in the meantime; constituting the simulating mode of data acquisition; scheming the relay protection for the mini power system modes; and designing the simulating experiment items according to the specialty content.The Digital Simular Teaching System designed and developed in this paper had been applied in the December last year to the undergraduates for their synthesis course experiment and acquired the better effects.
