With the rapid development of the economy, more and more bulk-materials semitrailers are needed in our country. However, our transportation undertaking in bulk begins later than the developed countries, falls behind them greatly, the proportion of materials in bulk is lower as compared with them. Therefore, making a research on the bulk-materials semitrailers, has a most practical significance undoubtedly.The finite element method has been an essential technique during the structure design for vehicles and has been adopted by most engineers and technicians nowadays. The paper takes the popular FEA software ANSYS as a developing platform and the software has the function of scattering entity model to countless element, so we can analyse, calculate and optimize the model conveniently.In relation to the real engineering research and taking the bulk-cement semitrailer (abbr. semitrailer) as an example, the author proposed the load model and loading ways of the bulk-cement semitrailer which working under various conditions, meanwhile analyzed and redesigned the semitrailer model. At the beginning the article introduced the research on the bulk-materials semitrailers in our country and other countries, the structure, primary parts and working principle of the T.
