Based on the consults of documents at home and abroad, this paper studied the influence of base cement-stabilized gravel to the performance of pavement. Studies were conducted from mixture design and the evaluation of skeleton structure, with lots of theoretical analysis, combined with indoor and outdoor testing, studies were conducted on the influence of grain spacing and cement mucilage-slack-measure to the performance of cement-stabilized gravel base course and the regression formula between cement mucilage-slack-measure and pavement performance was created. The proper range of cement mucilage-slack-measure was also recommended in this paper. This paper analyzed the grain spacing of coarse aggregate, especially analyzed the correlations between average grain spacing and pavement performance, created the regression formula between average grain spacing and cement mucilage-slack-measure, based on which skeleton-area-index was introduced and this can provide index for evaluating the state of aggregate skeleton for design and construct of cement-stabilized gravel base.
