With the consciousness strengthen of people's environment protection; the claim to solve automobile exhaust emission is gradually rising. One of the most effective methods to control automobile exhaust emission is to detect its emission conditions timely. At present, the working-conditions of detecting exhaust emission, which aims at the in-use vehicles, is gradually transiting from stable working-conditions to transient working-conditions. Therefore the cost of measure equipments that can detect transient emission is comparatively higher, and its operation is also complex.In order to develop a transient emission indirectly detecting system (TEIDS) for spark-ignited engines, a stable emission measure instrument that is a five components exhaust analyzer with the type of AVL DiGas 4000 Light is considered in this thesis. The means of indirect detecting is adopted. The research items are as follows:â‘ The serial communications between the control computer and AVL five components exhaust analyzer is carried out based on the Win32 communication API functions, the emission data is obtained through making using of the computer to control the AVL five components exhaust analyzer.â‘¡The request of synchronous and without gap for controlling transient working-conditions and obtaining transient emission data is met by making use of Windows multithread technology.â‘¢The single document control software of document/view structure is designed according to the Visual C++ 6.0 developing platform. The throttle opening degree and spark-ignited engine rotating speed are simultaneously displayed in the form of needle animation. The emission data measured is preserved in computer hard drive by utilizing DAO database technology.â‘£The integration of calculating program, which can calculate single cylinder Shannon entropy under Matlab platform in the TEIDS, is also achieved by utilizing mixed programming between Matlab and VC++ .The developed TEIDS is tested through experiment examination, the following conclusion is reached: it can not only synchronously control the transient working-conditions of spark-ignited engine measured and obtain...
