With the consciousness strengthen of people's environment protection, the claim to solve automobile tail emission is gradually rising. One of the most effective methods to control automobile exhaust emission is to detect its emission conditions timely. At present, the methods and equipments for automobile tail emission detection are based on the indoor detection, but the indoor detection is restricted by the laboratory conditions and equipments, and it is unable to reflect the automobile emission situation in reality very well.Basing on the studying of former, the automobile tail emission remote mobile detection system based on the five components exhaust analyzer with type of AVL DiGas 4000 Light is considered in the research. The on road detection experiments for automobile emission are accomplished by use of this system, and the experiment results are analyzed. The research items are as follows:①By expanding the engine speed measurement function of the five components exhaust analyzer with type of AVL DiGas 4000 Light, the automobile velocity data is acquired.②The signal interference phenomenon appeared in the process of experiments are analyzed, and the solution is provided.③The characteristics of SMS data transmission is analyzed with the experiment, the data transmission function of the automobile tail emission remote mobile detection system is achieved with wireless modem controlled by personal computer.④The software for the automobile tail emission remote mobile detection is designed according to the LabVIEW programming software.⑤The simply shift up accelerating condition and the improved ASM condition for the on road detection experiments are established, the on road detection experiments for automobile emission are accomplished.⑥The results of on road detection experiments for automobile emission are analyzed.
