At present, the domestic vehicle electronics manufactures test products performance with manual tester or imported test system. The control accuracy of manual tester isn't high, the synchronesm isn't good and the test time is too long, performance test is usually hold up production, so that there are many rectifiers wait for test. So the most important problem is to improve accuracy and short test time. After investigating, the test systems which are reaseared for testing rectifier performance have lots of types, but the prices all are every expensive, and most of them are usually in common use, it's inconvenience to maintenance them, so they cann't meet the special demands.The performance tester of vehicle rectifier was described in the article is in order to meet the actual production demands in the factory, it's a kind of semi-automatic test system which is integrated with mechanical, electrical and gas according to the contents that are need to be test. The system simulate the working mode of the vehicle electrical system, so it may carry on the conventional rectifying current characteristics examination to the bridge rectifier, throw the load test and the thermal circulation load test. We take the auto rectifier function tester as the research subject in this paper, mainly has carried on following several aspects work:1.The equivalent circuit of vehicles electrical system and its analysis 2.The whole constitution of test system and its analysis 3.The design of rectifying test system4. The design of automatic fitting clamps system5. The basic structure principle of voltage regulator and the design of equivalent circuit 6.The design of thermal circulation load test systemAt present in the market, the test system sells price is generally about 100,000 Yuan, but the cost of test system which is researched according to the factory demand is only 20,000 Yuan, one test system saves 80,000 Yuan. The time for fitting clamp need about one minute before using this test system, but after developed that, the time only need ten seconds, reduced 6 times of time, also enhanced 6 times of working efficiencies. Therefore the development of the test system has very high use value to the factory production.
