The ships are always moving in function of sea waves, which has a great influence to the safe of carrier aircrafts taking off and landing. So, in foreign, when the plane is approaching the carrier, the standard(the pitch angle can not be above 1.4~0) for pitch is limited strictly. In order to reduce influence to carrier aircrafts landing for ship motion, people continually study and develop new methods. In these methods, it is an important study realm that prediction of ship motion is applied to guiding system of carrier aircrafts landing.Prediction technique is processed two aspects when the plane is landing now. The first is the compensate of ship motion. The carrier plane is controlled by the prediction data transmitted, in order to make the plane in the right approaching line. The second is applied the decision-making that whether landing or not will be done in the last time of approaching. This paper work at the second. In this paper, on the ground of analyzing, modeling of ship motion and comparing of all kinds of prediction methods, the prediction method of AR model is introduced. And by using the RLS algorithm, the real-time prediction of ship motion is realized. At last, the landing guidance hardware system whose core is DSP is designed on the ground of the condition of ship pitch, the sea and the landing standard. In this system, the soft is realized with C program, including prediction, watch dog, and so on. And the interface is realized with VC.This paper has been accomplished on premiss of a lot of domestic and overseas reference being researched and domestic actual situation being considered. It is believed to be helpful for developing our country's guiding system of carrier aircrafts landing.
