Motion of ship has a great influence to safe of carrier aircrafts landing.Even if at the middle condition of wave, because of ship longitudinal angle approaching l°,ship stern will rise about 2m above expection in contast with 3m clearance between carrier aircrafts pothook and ship stern.in order to reduce influence for carrier aircrafts landing to ship motion, people continually study and develop new methods. In these methods,it is a important study realm that prediction of ship motion applying to guiding system of carrier aircrafts landing. In this paper, on the ground of analyzing and modeling of ship motion and comparenment of a kind of prediction methods, firstly an prediction method of adaptive AR model is introduced and it can realize real-time prediction through RLS algorithmn. Then, aiming at the situation of ship longitudinal prediction applying guiding system,we emphasizly analyz applied mean of prediction at guiding system and provide mapping relation between light bevel and longitudinal angle. Furtherly, prediction system of ship motion and soft simulations system of guiding system based on prediction under VC entironment are designed. Consequence indicates, it is feasible to prediction of ship motion applying to guiding system. It contributs to reduce influence of ship motion for carrier aircrafts landing and improve safe of carrier aircrafts. This paper has be accomplished on premiss of a lot of domestic and overseas reference being researched and domestic actual situation being considered. It is believed to be helpful for developing our country's guiding system of carrier aircrafts landing.
