Top-looking fuse has widely applied in the fields of the homing and fuse in our country. The forward-looking acoustic fuse hasn't applied in torpedo weapon up to the present. Forward-looking acoustic fuse is that after the torpedo homing system enters into blind filed, fuse system can estimate orientation of the target and guide the torpedo point to target so as to hit the target more precisely. The study of the short distance target identification and orientation estimation is an important aspect in homing weapon system. This dissertation recommends the technique of target identification and orientation estimation on the basis of the homing torpedo forward-looking fuse and the research of hotspot problem of modern torpedo fuse; discusses realization of short distance target identification and orientation estimation digital signal processor hardware circuit and design difficulty in detail; presents hardware platform model. We prove sufficiently real-time and feasibility through plentiful computer emulators, pool experiments and lake experiments. The major content as follow:1) Analysis directionality of acoustic fuse sensor array; Obtain sensor array parameters that satisfy requirement of forward-looking acoustic fuse directionality; study in-depth orthogonal beam forming methods and weighted methods that can be applied in this system; ascertain concrete method of beam-forming.2) Put forward several signal detection and orientation estimation methods according to target information (orientation and distance) that this acoustic fuse system ultimately needs gain. Select optimal method in terms of real time requirement.3) Complete software design of digital signal process system on the basis of requirement that system application. The major contents are: data sampling, beam forming, signal detection, orientation estimation and distance estimation.4) Complete hardware designs that include A/D sampling module (THS1206 as core) and signal process module (ADSP21160 as core) through select appropriate chips according to requirement of software real time processing.5) Adjust algorithm and circuit via results of pool experiments and lake experiments. At last complete system design that reach pre-concerted objective.
