Research And Development Of Key Technologies For Product Design Of Knowledge-based

Knowledge based design model is the refined quintessence of the designer's experience. In the process of new product development, the reasoning machine is used to calculate problem solutions and the knowledge in the knowledge base is recalled for guidance, therefore to achieve enhanced overall product design level, shortened product development cycle and reduced new product investment risk. Supported by Hi-Tech Program Research Project of state 863 projects and Jiangsu Province, based on study of general characters of machinery product design, and by incorporating progressive design philosophy and three dimensional CAD technologies, this paper, depending on research of knowledge based product as the main line, researches theories and key technologies pertinent to knowledge based product design systematically.As an important component of the above researches, this paper covers following aspects:·Firstly, product design theories are summarized, status and development trend of machinery product design are analyzed, and application of knowledge based design method in machinery product design is put forward.·KBE (knowledge based engineering) theories such as knowledge acquisition, representation and storage are discussed, KBE concept is integrated with UG secondary development technology, and design knowledge is induced and stored to establish the design knowledge base.·Product case representation is researched, a hierarchical tree type product case library for complex products is established, retrieve strategy for cases of the nearest filed is put forward and corresponding algorithm is given.·Three dimensional product modeling technology based on knowledge reuse is researched, including reuse of design resources, reuse of computational procedure, reuse of computational data and reuse of reasoning procedure during design process; Implementation approach of three dimensional cam model based on design reuse is introduced.Finally, based on above researches, the knowledge based product design system...
