The dissertation mainly studies the collaborative simulation technology and the collaborative simulation platform technology, which is the critical core technology of virtual prototype technology, based on the background of the major project (Research on virtual prototype technology of complex product, issue No. : 031110119) from Department of Science and Technology of Shandong Province, in order to solve the application of collaborative simulation in complex product development process in Shandong Province.Introduced briefly the origins, present status home and abroad,characteristics and critical technologies of virtual prototype technology. Discussed the status of research of collaborative simulation technology, mainly studied the realization methods of collaborative simulation technology, and found the methods suitable for Shandong Province product development model-multidisciplinary collaborative simulation model based on interface. While explored the collaborative simulation platform technology, on the basis of theory studied above and supporting environmental technology, according to the characters of complex product development process, developed collaborative simulation platform system of virtual prototype, and given the introduction of the specific functional modules, innovatively promoted and used it in Chang Lin Group in Shandong Province.Regarded vibrating mechanism of Chang Lin Group's product------YZ18JA-typevibrating road roller as an example, analyzed the numerical models of vibration system's mechanical system and hydraulic system, found the transmission relationship between the parameters of the system, provided strategy framework of realizing collaborative simulation technology during product development process. Based on Pro/E, created the 3D model of mechanical systems; studied the interface technology between Pro/E and ADAMS, and successfully transmitted Pro/E model to ADAMS; making use of ADAMS and Hydraulic module in the same interface, completed innovatively collaborative simulation between mechanical systems and hydraulic systems (loop-control). The cases proved the theoretical research, basically solved the problems which single field simulation has, to some extent, and met the complex product development needs in Shandong Province.
