| Engine heat balance is defined as the distribution of all heat which gives out by fuel in ICE. It's the foundation of analyzing heat load in parts of ICE and designing cooling system.At present, research methods of engine heat balance are experimentation test and simulation. More and more investigations about heat balance simulation were studied along with the development of computer technology. But the experiment research still holds in its necessary station. There are two reasons. On the one hand, the basic data of new style engine is lacking, and heat balance experiment can afford general data for describing the ICE performance which has very important meaning for design. On the other hand, it is necessary for simulation to check out its model via experiment data.This dissertation is on the basis of host of reference books, aims at the shortage of basic data and develops the engine heat balance measurement system based on Virtual Instrument. The test platform can also display, save and analyze the test data as well as long-distance operation. The main works done in this dissertation are as follows:1) Have finished the project design of engine heat balance system and contrasted the advantages and disadvantages of each project design.2) Have finished the theory and experiment research aimed at solving the problem of exhaust heat which can not be measured exactly.3) Have successfully put up the test rig of engine heat balance.4) Have finished the heat balance experiments of WD615 diesel engine, and analyzed the effect factor via the map of heat balance. |
