Sufficient attention maybe paid attention to the durability of reinforced concrete structure widespread all over the world. The concrete structures fail pre-maturity due to the lack of durability in many cases in ingress environment. Under marine conditions and de-icing environment, reinforced concrete structures, in which concrete subjected to chloride ingress, resulting in corrosion of reinforcing bars, induced early deterioration and loss their durability. This is a main problem in engineering practice. Based on these, this thesis carried out following aspects:1. The calculating format of discontinuous linear element of 2-D elasticity problems was founded on the basic theory of Boundary Element Method (BEM), and the programs were compiled by Fortran90. Through comparing and analyzing the result of constant element and discontinuous linear element, discontinuous boundary element is an available way for solving corner problem.2. The chloride diffusion mechanism in concrete was studied under marine conditions. Based on the Fick's law, the basic model of chloride 2-D unsteady diffusion in concrete was founded.3. BEM was applied to solve diffusion problem. The calculating format of 2-D unsteady diffusion problems was founded and program was compiled. It proved feasibility of this way through comparing the computational result with other's experimental result.
