Research On The Fast Construction Of Unfavorable Geological Tunnel

Due to many unpredictable factors and many hidden security troubles in the construction of tunnels, it is difficult to guarantee the secure monitoring, quality control, cost control, progress warranty, environmental and healthy protection, etc. If further optimization and improvement have made to construction technology and progress management, the security, quality, progress, cost and occupational health of the construction will be improved and advanced.This paper introduces the present status of construction of tunnel projects home and abroad, explains the mechanism and shoring method of weak wall rocks and excavation of unfavorable tunnels. The most popular-used advanced technology and methods are being explained in this paper, and relative merits of these technology and methods are being compared. Also the principle of NATM (New Austrian Tunneling Method) and the method of excavation and shoring in tunnel construction are being given.Combined with my experience on the construction of tunnel project in Kelin, I made a detailed research on weak wall rocks and unfavorable geological tunnels and adopted different construction methods according to special geological status.
