Gyro assembly has been proved to have extensive application prospect in the fields of manufacture and application of the gyroscope. In this thesis an in-depth study on the structure, rigidity, assembling error model and assembling strategy of the flexible gyro has been carried out, and an assembly system, which is used to assemble flexible gyro joints, has been established to lay the foundation for automatic and high precision assembly.Holistic rigidity method is applied to analyze the rigidity of the flexible gyro joints. First the model of the flexible gyro joints is established. Then the normal elastic coefficients are achieved with formulas and actual parameters, which offer a theory base to get harmonious state. Based on analysis of the iso-rigidity of the gyro assembly, the requirement for making the joints match each other is offered, which has a guiding significance for joints assembly and selection.Based on analysis of rigidity and drift error for the Dynamically Tuned gyro, A cross model including an inner and an outer flexible hinges is established. The influence curve of the two flexible connector hinges'relative position is achieved by analyzing the model with the Pseudo-Rigid-Body Model. It has been found out that the rigidity variety of the model requires an assembly application with high coaxiality and orthogonality, which should supervises the whole assemblage and debugging technique.A micro-vision system is founded to check the placement and dimension of the flexible hinges for evaluating manufacture quality. To get assembly targets, the whole process is instructed by real-time images information.Based on the image analysis and force sensor test, a gyro joints assembly system has been established. In this system micro-vision system is used to check the orthogonality of the joints, the radial error is adjusted by the precision motor and force sensor, and axial centering is changed by the piezoelectric ceramic.
