Currently, many foreign companies have already released some appropriation fatigue analyze softwares, but these softwares have certainly limitation for the railway wagon body which is the welded structure. Aim at the above-mentioned problems, according to the American AAR standard for technique kernel, taking the Visual Studio.NET integration development environment as design flatform, it was important significance that the appropriation fatigue life prediction software system was developed for the railway wagon body structure characteristics. This paper mostly carried on following several researches:1. Carried on a total design to the software system, gave a total technological process with software system, and divided the system into four function modules of relative independence, they were the load spectrum administer module, the FEA data extraction module, fatigue calculation module and the comprehensive calculation module, then compiled the procedure code of each module.2. According to a great deal of actual measurement the load spectrum data and the welded joint data form the AAR standard, established the load spectrum database and the welded joint database with the Microsoft Office Access software.3. Pass to make use of the Open I-DEAS key technique, to the I-DEAS software finite element module carried on secondary development researches, making this software system and the I-DEAS software to combine sufficiently.4.
