Research On The Coherent Material And Properties Of Asphalt Pavement

It is a very important step to strong the interbedded combination of the base and the surface when bestrewing coherent layer on semirigid base, also the penetrated oil has the function of protecting the base and strengthening the base. So high-qualified penetrated oil has an very important role to ensure that the asphalt pavement works well and has a very good road performance.Firstly, this paper uses elastic multi-layer theory to detailedly analyze the shear stress between the semirigid base and the surface of the asphalt pavement, thus finding the general law of the shear stress. And also discusses how the shear is affected by loads and parameters of pavement (including modulus and thickness of base and surface).Then analyzing coherent layer material of the asphalt pavement, choosing modified emulsified asphalt as the coherent layer material and experimenting the regular and quality test.Finally simulating coherent layer real work state, carrying on mechanics performance test, as the resistance to shear and tensile strength of coherent layer structure for index to determine the consumption and the kind of coherent material, analyze influential factors which influence the performance of coherent material. At last validating the resistance of rutting performance of the asphalt pavement using penetrated oil.
