The Application And Development Of Reverse Engineering Of Motor-seal Based On UG

The paper puts forward how to design reverse engineering of motor-seal on UG platform,The reasons are:â‘ .The integration of reverse design and manufacture can be completed in UG;â‘¡.The current professional reverse softwares requirement higher technical designer,and integrate with common CAD software are not mature.Point cloud reprocessing and surface reconstruction are critical technology of reverse engineering,although UG modelling module has powerful functions of curve and surface shapping,not functions of Point cloud reprocessing.So the paper puts forward the topic that develop the system of point cloud reprocessing in UG platform by VC++6.0.The system enhances efficiency and precision of reverse engineering in UG modelling module.So,in certain degree,it optimizes functions of reverse engineering in UG modelling module,having the certain practical value.The princpal research work is listed as follows:1. Disscusing the algorithm of alignment of mult-version point cloud by coordinate transformation theory.2. Studying on sorting the scattered points cloud data, preliminarily establishing the topological relations of between clouds, enabled points cloud data to have the certain integrity.3. Studying on simplification algorithms of points cloud data,introducing the commonly simplification algorithms of points cloud data,putting forward the simplification algorithms based on given the value of the distance of the between point,and hanving realized the simplification algorithms by VC++6.0.4. Studying on the points cloud data filtering algorithm of Gauss filtering, the median value filtering and the average value filtering. It is realized by the smooth function(smooth()) in Curve Fitting ToolBox of Matlab trasferred VC++6.05. The integration of the modules of points cloud sorting, simplification and filtering and UG is realized by VC++6.0 and UG/Open API of secondary development in UG,and the display of points cloud is realized in the interface of UG6.
