On the basis of studying the dam site area basic geology condition, the sloping ground structure of rock mass and the distortion sign. This article researched the sloping ground stress field, the off-load zoning and rock mass quality emphatically, and has analyzed the abutment slope distortion destruction pattern, then has systematically appraised the abutment slope natural side slope and the project side slope stability in administrative levels. Obtaining knows as follows:(1)By applying Three Dimensional Laser Scan Technology, measuring structure plane occurrence-condition precisely, it provides the powerful supplement for studying on the abutment structure of rock mass and deterministic model establishment.(2) The stress field basic character of the abutment slope is obtained, according to the result of slope stress field test by the method of adit wall stress relief — recovery measuring , combining borehole radial deformation and the method.(3) According to the rock mass structure type of side slope, combining side slope distortion destruction characteristic, we analyze the abutment slope distortion destruction pattern. The left bank side slope main distortion destruction way is dumping-the slipping pull crack and revolves -slipping pull crack, and right bank side slope distortion destruction pattern mainly is slipping pull crack.(4)Combination qualitative and quantitative method, studying synthetically on the abutment slope off-load zoning. In aspect of quantitative division, synthetically apply the test achievement of wave velocity , springback and slope stress field, discussed the relevance between slope off-load zoning and the slope stress zoning in particular.(5) The rock mass quality level of abutment slope is divided by the qualitative judgment and CSMR. Pattern. It comes to the conclusion that the rock mass quality level of abutment slope is II, III level primarily. The II, III level of slope rock mass quality on left bank accounts for 70.1%, while it accounts for 76.7% on right bank.
