Study On Special Problem Of Submarine Pressure Hull

Nowadays, the trend of submarines towards lager dimension and deep diving has strategic significance. With the lager dimension of the submarine pressure hull, the strength and stability analysis of pressure hull is still an important subject in the submarine design. In this thesis, the pressure structures will be researched against the stress and stability of the pressure hull and the transition structure models of cylindrical shell, using the finite element analysis software ANSYS and experiments.Firstly, pressure tank is approximately regarded as an oval cylindrical shell, by explaining the applied theory and calculation methods of the oval cylindrical shell, the calculation methods' applicability to the non-circular cylindrical shell of the pressure tank is studied.Secondly, with the material testing and designing the experimental model, the non-circular cylindrical shell and it's external pressure test are proceeded. The stress trend with the curvature variety is researched.Thirdly, the finite element calculation models are built and characteristic points stress is calculated using the finite element analysis software ANSYS.
